The format

We take the chapters everyone has read that month and talk about what they mean in practice. It is not a book review and there is no speaker at the front. The conversation is about your business and the decisions you are facing, with the book as the starting point. Most of the value is in what other people in the room see that you would have missed on your own.
Once a month, on a weekday morning, for around two hours over breakfast. Consistent and easy to plan around. We have met every month since we launched in September 2025.
In person. That is where the value is. We meet at a private room at a relaxed venue in the Midlands. On the odd occasion a meeting has run online when it has needed to, but in person is the heart of it.
Small, and staying that way. We cap the club at twelve members. At twelve, everyone speaks, everyone is challenged and the conversation stays sharp. Grow past that and you get an audience instead of a table.

The reading

No. We read two or three chapters a month, at your own pace, on your own time. That is the whole point of doing it together. The monthly meeting is the deadline that gets the book finished, and the conversation is what makes the reading worth doing.
Turn up anyway. Life happens. But the club works because people come prepared, so the honest answer is that the more you put in, the more you get out. If you are routinely not reading, it is probably not the right fit, and that is fine.
Members buy their own copy of each book, so you can read it however you like, paper, Kindle or audio. Your £47 a month covers your seat, the room and breakfast on the day.

Joining & cost

£47 a month. That covers your seat at every monthly meeting, the private room, breakfast on the day and the members' WhatsApp community between meetings. No joining fee and no long contract. We keep the price where it is on purpose. It is the level of commitment that keeps the room full of the right people.
Often, yes. When we have a seat free we invite people to attend one meeting as a guest, with no fee and no obligation, to see if the room feels right. It works both ways: you decide if it is for you, and we get to know you. Request an invitation and we will let you know when the next opening is.
Because the quality of the conversation depends entirely on who is in the room. We would rather have eight of the right people than thirty of the wrong ones. So we choose for fit, and we are happy to say no when someone is not a match. It is nothing personal, it just keeps the club good.
Yes, any time. Membership runs month to month. We would rather you stayed because the club earns it than because you were locked in.

Fit

There is no revenue test. What matters is that you own or lead a business, you take your own growth seriously, and you will show up prepared and contribute. We have founders at different stages around the table, which is part of what makes it work.
No. There are no lanyards, no pitches and no one working the room. Relationships and the odd bit of business do come out of it naturally, because that is what happens when good people talk honestly over time. But that is a by-product, not the point.
No, and we would not pretend otherwise. It will not fix a broken model or replace proper professional advice, and it cannot make you act on what you learn. What it can do is make you think differently about a problem, show you other founders carrying the same weight, and hand you the occasional idea or reframe that shifts something. The transformation is your job. We just make the thinking better.
